![]() Finally, the clincher was how a free small coffee is served at the front desk until 9 am or you can go buy a larger one for $6. WOW, when was the last time you stayed at a 'RESORT" that didn't provide this simple yet important customer service to their clientele? BTW, we ended up having to move rooms again as we neede4d to have a bath tub for my husband and myself, I am a professional who has worked in customer service capacity my whole life and I can say I would never stay in your resort again, until you make some very basic changes as a customer and professional. The front desk person's response to her without even looking at her was, "There is CVS across the parking lot". She was a sweet young girl who was so polite when asking if by chance they had any toothbrush/toothpaste amenities as she had forgotten hers at home. When we were checking out a customer was checking in. We also did not realize we would be competing for pool time and space with the kids day camp and the exercise classes sponsored by the health club next door. So, one of us was left out of any sort of jacuzzi spa usage. We did go and check out the Health club jacuzzi and found out the men's was working but not the women's facility. Once we had moved rooms we then found out the jacuzzi spa was not working on site but again we could go next door. We were assured the spa was available to us whether on site or at the health club next door. and it had no bathtub a requirement for my husband. When we arrived we upgraded our room for $100 a night only to have a tree view not a pool view. ![]() We stayed at your location given the responses and such from Expedia. ![]() It was our anniversary trip to the wine country. We were disappointed on so many levels for our stay. Also, this is a very family-friendly resort, so if you are a couple traveling without kids, expect the pool and hot tub to be dominated by children from sunrise to sunset.… While I still think this is a good place to stay, I would encourage other guests to ask for what they need as early as possible, because it definitely won't be offered to you proactively. You can communicate with the front desk via text, but they will not remind you of the housekeeping policy or go out of their way to ensure your comfort, which was especially disappointing for a longer stay. They currently have a policy that provides housekeeping after your third night, but management and hotel staff seem to disagree on whether that is provided automatically or only upon request, and there is a deadline for such a request that isn't publicly advertised. Rooms are quiet and comfortable and well-situated for access to the pool, restaurant, and nearby health club and spa. The resort's location is excellent for access to wherever you may want to go in Wine Country, and the renovations within the last few years provide a "retro" quality while still providing a modern hotel experience. All in all, it was a great place, decent rooms, nice pool (especially during the week when there were a lot less people), and good food- we just wish they hadn't been shady about the rates. The kicker was that the rate that was quoted was not at all what was billed (and we booked directly with them), and then they didn't even follow up with a receipt, we had to reach out and only after a week of phone calls did we get an itemized list of the bill. Not a huge deal, but 2 minutes of description would have saved us 15 minutes of trouble immediately after checking in and not being able to get into our room. At checkin, we barely even got a map of where our room was, and there definitely wasn't a description of the nuances of the room and property (there's two doors, the one is often jammed, if you deadbolt one, you'll have to walk all the way around to the other). What they failed at was information and transparency. The resort was very family friendly, and did great at accommodating our variety of guests (little ones, active grandparents, grandparents in wheelchairs, and parents wanting to go out on the town).
